The mission of Red Community Organization's social media platforms are to provide people with a safe haven to memorialize their loved ones, who were the victims of gun violence. Our purpose is to provide an outlet for people to remember the brightest moments of their loved ones life and share their light with the world so the core of who they were won’t be lost.

This book will not only tell the stories of those who have passed, but it will also capture the resilience, grief, and strength of those who loved them. By contributing your story, you will help shed light on the human toll of gun violence and bring attention to the urgent need for change. Your voice matters, and your story can inspire hope, healing, and awareness.

The RED Community Organization's primary focus is to provide preventative methods, solutions and support to individuals, who otherwise, may not have access. We believe in building communities through literacy, communication, education, love, encouragement, guidance, emotional support and evolution.
About Us
The RED Community is a 501(c)3 nonprofit community based organization with a mission to rebuild communities through literacy, communication, education, love, encouragement, guidance, emotional support and evolution. Stakeholders, or individuals involved in or affected by the course of action, include residents of resource deprived communities, at-risk youth, and young adults in and around the Chicago land area.

Our organizational programs were established to impart and enhance cultural understanding, academic growth, as well as social and emotional development for communities impacted by the extreme detriment of gun violence. As a result of our collaborative efforts, community residents will be empowered and positioned to ensure that their communities thrive.
