The RED Community Organization is a 501(c)3 nonprofit community based organization committed to Redirecting, Redetermining,, Redefining, Rededicating, Redeeming, and Redressing communities that have been detrimentally affected by gun violence. The RED community ‘s primary focus is to provide preventative methods, solutions and support to individuals, who otherwise, may not have access. We believe in building communities through literacy, communication, education, love, encouragement, guidance, emotional support and evolution.
The RED Community will provide free access to after-school educational support in literacy and mathematics, as well as additional programs in cultural arts, music, and sports. Access to adult education and skills training will also be provided to ensure that members of the community are fully equipped to make a positive impact not only in their own lives, but in the lives of their families, and the communities in which they reside.
